POPC

A rupture disc is installed on a pressure vessel or a pipe line and gets ruptured when the pressure exceeds the safety limit or the regulatory limits, so that the overpressure can be discharged to a safe place and the pressure vessel and the pipe line can be protected from damages


  • ο  The POPC (Dome Composite) rupture disc consists of the three confi gurations of the pressure disc, the sealing sheet, and the vacuum disc.

    ο  It is the type broken by the internal pressure of fl uid with the burst part intentionally processed by the burst design value.

    ο  It can be used widely in all areas such as gas, liquid, and steam.

    ο  It should be mounted with the standard holder of our company for use.

ο  It is the type suitable to the application of low and middle pressure.

ο  The burst area and rated capacity are more excellent than any other model.

ο  The precision processing is possible to apply setting and bursting pressure. The tolerance range is possible up to ±3%.

ο  Teflon (PFA) is mainly used for the sealing sheet preventing liquid leakage.

ο  The material quality of the sealing sheet can be applied variously according to the temperature and corrosiveness of fl uid. (PFA, PTFE, FEP, SUS316L, Nickel, Monel, Inconel, etc.)

ο  It is the type resisting the full vacuum by applying the vacuum support if needed. (Optional)

ο  It is the multi-layered structure type with the burst part processed by the burst design.

ο  The disc rupture can be monitored in the control room by applying the alarm sensor system. (Optional)
