A rupture disc is installed on a pressure vessel or a pipe line and gets ruptured when the pressure exceeds the safety limit or the regulatory limits, so that the overpressure can be discharged to a safe place and the pressure vessel and the pipe line can be protected from damages


  • ο  The POPR(REVERSE BUCKLING KNIFE-BLADE) rupture disc is manufactured in the reverse dome shape. The disk is reversed by the knife of the holder (outlet). It is divided into four fl oral leaves and broken.

    ο  The knife-blade consists of the same four pieces without fragments and cuts through the rupture disc. It is the type without contamination generated by the metal in the process.

    ο  It can be used widely in the gas, steam, and liquid areas.

    ο  It is the type enduring the back pressure, vacuum, and pulsation well.

    ο  It should be mounted with the standard holder of our company for use.

ο  It is the type suitable to the application of middle and high pressure.

ο  It is the solid disc type. It has the excellent safety grade. It excels in resisting high temperature and corrosiveness.

ο  The disc material quality can be applied variously according to the temperature and corrosiveness of fl uid. (SUS316L, Nickel, Monel, Inconel, Titanium, etc.)

ο  The vacuum support is unnecessary. It is cheaper than the disc of another model.

ο  It is the single-layered structure type formed by the rupture design.

ο  The disc rupture can be monitored in the control room by applying the alarm sensor system. (Optional)
